Can I change where my QR code points after printing it?
Yes. That is exactly what QRMapper is for. The printed pattern encodes a permanent short link, and you choose what that link opens. Change the destination from your dashboard anytime; every already-printed copy updates instantly.
Do QRMapper codes expire?
No. The printed pattern stays valid for the lifetime of the service. You can set your own expiration date or scan limit on a link, and lift it later. The code itself never goes stale.
What happens if a printed QR code has no working destination?
Set a Safe Home address on the code and that scan lands on your page instead of an error. It covers every case where the destination cannot be served: you turned the code off, it passed its expiration date, it reached its scan limit, or you have not assigned a destination yet. Safe Home is available on every plan, including Free, and password-protected codes still ask for the password first.
Can I schedule a QR code to change destinations automatically?
Yes. Scenarios act like a calendar for your link: point to a teaser today, switch to the launch page on release day, then to a thank-you page after the event. All automatic, on the Business plan.
What analytics do I get for each scan?
Scans over time, unique versus repeat visitors, device type, browser and country. Counting uses anonymous daily hashes, so no personal visitor data is stored.
Can I password-protect a QR code or limit its scans?
Yes. Pro and higher plans can set a password, a maximum number of scans, an expiration date, or disable a link entirely with one click.
Can I put my logo and brand colors on the code?
Yes. Choose colors, dot and corner styles, and add your logo, then export a print-ready PNG or SVG. Styling never breaks the link inside.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. 5 dynamic QR codes with editable destinations and 7-day analytics, free forever, no credit card required. Scans are never paused or capped on the free plan: a printed code keeps working however many times it is scanned. Paid plans add more codes, types and features, with a 14-day free trial.
